A rare violin by Johann Christoph Leidolff who was appointed luthier to the Viennese court. His family continued in his footsteps producing some of the finest Viennese 18th century violins in the spirit of Stainer and Amati. This instrument is a work of a master; the woods are stunning as is the varnish.
